North Stradbroke Island Historial Museum

The North Stradbroke Island Historical Museum is a social history museum dedicated to preserving and recording the social history of North Stradbroke Island.
A replica building the 'Foul Ward,' houses a display relating to the Dunwich Benevolent Asylum.
In the main building, displays feature indigenous history, mineral sand mining, dugong and the fishing industry, telecommunications and the history of the three townships, Amity, Point Lookout and Dunwich. A sperm whale skull is housed in the outdoor pavilion.
